THE GOOD AND THE BAD!
The bad first:
We are closing down our service for Takabakang and Takarewataya due to destroyed fishing ground. We might open this service again in the future depending on the condition of the spots.
The good one is:
We are opening new service at Wakatobi Archipelago (see this website for info on Wakatobi).
Wakatobi is located at the center of the famous World Coral Triangle, this place has more than 300 coral species and becoming the number one diving site in the world, no commercial fishing in this area since this Wakatobi is convserved by the local government, WWF and many NGO's, Operation Wallacea is located in this area as well.
And the good news is, we will be the first professional sportfishing operator in this area, and suporting the conservation we will implement Bag Limit Regulation created by ourself, thus, we will be the first sportfishing in Indonesia with Bag Limit Regulation.
Theodoras boat is moving to Wakatobi on April 7th, 2009.
Service will be available very soon.

Next Taka Adventure - Takabakang - trip on the first season this year will be held on 12-15 March 2009.
It's a 4 days and 3 nights sportfishing on board Theodoras boat.
Fishing method we use on this trip is jigging, popping, trolling and heavy bottom fishing. Heavy bottom fishing will be targeting deep monster fish from 200m depth and beyond.
Target species are: GT, Doggie, Escolar, Ruby Snapper, Bigeye Jack, Grouper, Shark and all pelagics.
The package price is SGD930,00/pax including:
- Airport - hotel - pier transfer.
- Complimentary b'fast & dinner.
- 2 nights hotel stay - before & after the trip.
- Bait, sinker, fishing gear (if you don't wanna bring yours).
- Full board - b'fast/lunch/dinner w/fresh fruit, snacks, drinks (non alcoholic).
Seat is still available, make sure you have one, it's a highly recommended fishing trip.

We would like to inform you that starting from June 1, 2008 our government has raised the fuel price in Indonesia. Therefore, Taka Adventure trip rate has been changed accordingly. This is inevitable and we appologize for this inconvinience.

New fishing ground has just been explored by our Brave Explorer, 7 days of Popping and Jigging journey with the result of 20-30 over kgs of Giant Trevally.

Regretfully we inform you that Padang is no longer a good destination for fishing due to the bad behaviour of the local anglers, thousands of GT have been killed by them and sold in the market. We are closing down our Padang service, and might be opened again when the fishing ground's condition has been recovered.
